The perfect picnic side dish. Great with roasted herb chicken.
3 cups rotini pasta
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbs. olive oil
1 cup water
6 Tbs. balsamic vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp. dried basil
14 tsp. dried oregano
¼ tsp. dried marjoram
½ tsp. dried thyme
¼ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. Pepper
Place pasta and salt in the Fasta Pasta.
Add water to level 4.
Cook 10 minutes. Stir; cook 7 minutes.
Meanwhile:
Combine all remaining ingredients in blender or whisk until well blended.
Back to the Pasta:
Remove the pasta from the microwave; rinse and drain.
Fill a large bowl with cold water and a little ice.
Pour pasta into cold water to cool quickly.
When pasta has cooled, drain and toss pasta with herb dressing.
Served chilled.
