The Original Microwave Cooker

Linguini With Clam Sauce

Serves 4

A favorite Sicilian seafood dish.


4 servings linguini
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup parsley
l cup clams (canned)
2 Tbs. butter
1 clove garlic, minced 1 Tbs. flour
l cup clam juice (from canned clams)
1/2 tsp. thyme
dash of Tabasco sauce
Parmesan cheese



  1. Place pasta and salt in cooker
  2. Add water to level 4.
  3. Cook 15-16 mins.



  • Chop parsley. Chop clams.
  • Heat butter in a saucepan over medium Add garlic; cook I min.
  • Slowly stir in flour and cook 2 mins, stirring constantly
  • Add clam juice and stir until sauce thickens.
  • Add parsley and thyme. Let simmer 8 mins., stirring occasionally.
  • Add clams and heat through.
  • Add a dash of Tabasco


Back to the Pasta:

  • Remove pasta from microwave
  • Drain
  • Mix with sauce; serve with cheese.
